CEO Kim Yeon-soo says Hancom is fully qualified to pursue an agentic OS business...emphasizes four competitive strengths

Hancom said it will pivot its business toward an agentic OS, alongside a company name change, with a beta in 2025, a verified version in the second half of the year, and a full launch in 2027.

CEO Kim Yeon-su highlighted core strengths including data source technology, system execution, data sovereignty management, and strong public-sector security capabilities.

Hancom also pointed to its open-source ODL results and its ability to expand AI revenue from an existing customer base.

The move could intensify competition in Korea’s agentic OS market and shape domestic AI infrastructure strategies for public and sensitive industries.
