Google announces 'Gemini for Science,' a collection of experimental features to help scientists use AI, along with 'Science Skills,' an AI agent skill set that integrates insights from more than 30 major life science databases and tools, and 'ERA,' an AI tool to help create expert-level validation software

Google introduced Gemini for Science in Google Labs, an experimental suite for hypothesis generation, computational discovery, and literature insights.

It also unveiled Science Skills, which combines knowledge from 30+ life science databases and tools into a unified research layer.

ERA was announced to help experts build computational models and proof-of-concept code at a professional level.

Together, these tools aim to automate paper reading, hypothesis formation, coding, and experiments to speed up scientific research.
