Google launches Gemini 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash-Lite, teases Gemini 4

Google launched Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, touting lower token use, lower pricing, and stronger performance.

The new models are aimed at coding, knowledge work, and agentic tasks, and are available now in select Google products and developer tools.

Google also introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber for security research and vulnerability work.

The company said Gemini 4 training is already underway, signaling the next major model generation is in development.
