Cline releases open-source agent runtime SDK

Cline released @cline/sdk, an open-source TypeScript agent runtime SDK built from its agent loop and orchestration stack.

The SDK now powers Cline’s own products, including the CLI and Kanban, with upcoming support for VS Code and JetBrains extensions.

It adds durable agent features such as subagents, plugins, scheduled jobs, checkpointing, and MCP connectors.

Cline says the redesigned stack also delivers performance gains on benchmark runs, especially in terminal-based workflows.
