Samsung Lands Secret 2nm Cloud Giant & Says Foundry Orders Set to More Than Double in 2026

Samsung said it won 2nm manufacturing projects from a major cloud service provider and HPC customers during its earnings call.

Those 2nm projects have already entered the design phase, and Samsung also discussed potential advanced-process work with companies including Broadcom.

The company expects 2026 2nm projects to more than double year over year.

Samsung said foundry profitability is improving on higher utilization, better yields, and price increases.
