Apple warns EU against forcing Google to open Android to AI rivals

Apple warned the European Commission that draft DMA rules could force Google to give rival AI systems deeper access to Android features.

It said the proposed changes may create serious privacy, security, and performance risks for users and devices.

The EU is still reviewing Google’s compliance plan and is expected to decide in July whether it is sufficient.
