Meta releases Incognito AI Chat in WhatsApp and Meta AI

Meta is introducing Incognito Chat for WhatsApp and the Meta AI app to enable private AI conversations that vanish after the session.

The feature uses Private Processing to keep chats confidential, avoid logging, and delete messages after use.

Meta is also developing a separate Sidechat feature as part of its privacy-focused AI roadmap.

The move is designed to make AI chats safer for sensitive topics and help Meta differentiate its AI products on privacy.
