Teenage Engineering’s KO Sidekick is a mixer with fun performance effects

Teenage Engineering unveiled the EP-136 KO Sidekick, a $179 compact mixer and effects unit.

It supports two stereo inputs or four mono inputs, plus USB-C audio, EQ, compression, and BPM-synced performance effects.

The device can serve as a standalone effects processor for instruments, samplers, and mobile DJ setups.

It expands Teenage Engineering’s KO ecosystem beyond the KO-II samplers with a more flexible live-performance tool.
