Our ongoing commitment to privacy for the 1.1.1.1 public DNS resolver

Cloudflare says a new independent privacy review again confirmed its 1.1.1.1 DNS resolver meets its privacy commitments.

The report says Cloudflare does not sell or share user personal data, does not use it for ad targeting, and deletes or anonymizes source IP addresses within 25 hours.

Cloudflare clarified that a small fraction of sampled packets may be used for troubleshooting and attack mitigation.

The review focused only on privacy commitments, reinforcing trust in the widely used public DNS service.
