Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra: Samsung’s Bold Naming Strategy for 2026 Leaks

Leaks suggest Samsung’s 2026 foldable lineup will include a standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 and a lighter, thinner Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.

The Ultra model is said to focus on weight, thickness, battery life, and performance, while keeping a 5,000 mAh battery and 45W wired / 25W wireless charging.

It may also inherit the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s ultra-wide camera, but reportedly skips S Pen support, a 5x telephoto lens, 60W charging, and a privacy display.

Samsung appears to be using the Ultra badge to sharpen its premium foldable strategy ahead of a possible Apple foldable launch.
