Best Buy is selling an RTX 5080 for more than the RTX 5090’s MSRP

Best Buy raised the Asus ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC to $2,099, up from its $1,499 launch price.

That puts the RTX 5080 card above the RTX 5090’s $1,999 MSRP, a notable pricing reversal.

Other RTX 5080 models are still cheaper at other retailers, but the hike points to worsening GPU affordability.

Rising supply pressure and memory costs could push Nvidia and board partner prices even higher.
