Samsung confirms Galaxy S26 will get AirDrop support via Quick Share ‘soon’

Samsung will add AirDrop compatibility to the Galaxy S26 series, samsung confirmed at a press conference in Japan.

Galaxy S26 series will receive AirDrop support sequentially through software updates, samsung said distribution method and order.

Choi Won-jun confirmed the company plans to roll out AirDrop support to the Galaxy S26 series soon, samsung representative made the statement.

Google launched AirDrop support over Quick Share on the Pixel 10 series, google implemented AirDrop support on Pixel devices last year.

AirDrop via Quick Share devices must be set to Everyone mode to appear to iPhone, iPad, and Mac, airDrop via Quick Share requires visibility settings.
