AMD reveals budget-friendly RX 9050 GPU. More than anything, it’s a sign of terrible times for gaming

AMD launched the Radeon RX 9050, a budget RDNA 4 GPU aimed at 1080p gaming.

Retail models come with 8GB of GDDR6 and are reportedly priced at $279 in select regions.

A separate 4GB version is reserved for system integrators and prebuilt PCs.

The card’s limited memory and availability make it a modest low-end option versus pricier cards like the RX 9060 XT.
