SKT unveils proprietary AI model ‘A.X K2’... accelerating AX in everyday life and industry

SK Telecom has released its in-house AI model A.X K2, a 68.8 billion-parameter foundation model, to the open-source community.

Compared with A.X K1, it delivers stronger reasoning and long-context understanding, improved through SKT’s own SGA technology.

SKT is applying the model across manufacturing partners, office and consumer services, selected defense use cases, and bio collaborations.

It is also supporting Korea’s AI ecosystem through APIs, public AI competitions, and a citizen evaluation panel for its models.
