US Army unveils NGC2 battlefield network connecting helicopters, drones and troops

At Exercise Ivy Mass, the U.S. Army tested its Next-Generation Command and Control network at Fort Carson.

NGC2 linked Apache helicopters, drones, troops, logistics, and other units in near real time.

The drill ran under simulated jamming, cyber, and attack threats to mimic a contested battlefield.
