Meta Centralizes Access to Facebook, Instagram, AI Glasses and More Apps

Meta is renaming Accounts Center to Meta Account and broadening it to unify sign-in and settings across apps and devices.

The update covers Facebook, Instagram, Threads, AI Glasses, Meta Quest, and more, with some app-specific settings still kept separate.

Meta says the change will make cross-app login simpler and strengthen security options like passkeys and two-factor authentication.

It also gives users, parents, and families more centralized control through tools such as Family Center, while still allowing opt-out in some cases.
