Kioxia ships commercial samples of UFS 5.0 embedded flash, mass production expected by the end of 2026 - IT之家

Kioxia has begun shipping commercial samples of its UFS 5.0 embedded flash storage.

The new parts use Kioxia’s own controller and BiCS8 NAND, and come in 512GB and 1TB capacities.

UFS 5.0 is designed to deliver much higher bandwidth and better power efficiency for mobile devices.

Mass production is planned for late 2026.
