Edge adds a feature that lets Copilot compare and summarize the contents of multiple open tabs

Microsoft announced an Edge update on May 13, 2026 that expands Copilot tools across desktop and mobile.

The new features let users compare and summarize open tabs, including on mobile, to make research easier.

Edge is also getting Journeys, Vision and Voice, a podcast-style tab audio feature, and study and writing aids.

The update aims to make browser-based AI help more useful for synthesizing information and resuming work hands-free.
