Framework unveils new Laptop 13 Pro, OcuLink kit, and lap keyboard

Framework opened preorders for its redesigned Laptop 13 Pro, adding newer Intel and AMD chips, a larger battery, a haptic touchpad, a custom display, PCIe 5.0 storage support, and Ubuntu certification.

The company also introduced a haptic touchpad option for the Laptop 16, an OcuLink dev kit for external PCIe connectivity, and a wireless lap keyboard.

Some of the new parts remain backward-compatible with older 13-inch models, reinforcing Framework’s modular upgrade approach.

The launch broadens Framework’s laptop ecosystem with upgrades focused on performance, battery life, repairability, and expansion.
