Retroid Pocket Nova Packs 120Hz OLED and QC S8550 for $229

Retroid launched the Pocket Nova, a $229 Android handheld built for retro emulation and modern mobile gaming.

It features a 4.5-inch 4:3 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, plus RGB controls, stereo speakers, and USB-C video output.

The device uses Qualcomm’s QC S8550 chip with up to 12GB of RAM and Adreno 740 graphics, targeting strong performance in GameCube and PS2 emulation.

Other highlights include Wi‑Fi 7, Android 13 with Google Play Store access, and a 5,000mAh battery in a compact pocketable design.
