From Tsinghua Lab to the Low-Altitude Market: Huaxi Aviation WorthyAero R1 Ultra-Light Personal eVTOL Weighs 115 kg and Aims to Make Personal Flight Affordable

Huaxi Aviation unveiled the WorthyAero R1, an ultra-light single-seat eVTOL aimed at making personal flight more practical and affordable.

The aircraft weighs 115 kg empty, carries 85 kg, uses a six-rotor design, has an enclosed cockpit, and can land on water or land.

Huaxi says the R1 has completed about 500 test hours and is now in a pre-production stage, serving as a validation platform for future models.

The startup has already drawn orders from tourism customers in China and overseas, and plans B2B sales in China.

Hydrogen power development is planned for later-generation aircraft as Huaxi scales beyond the R1.
