The next iPad could sport a new naming scheme, thanks to new interview insight

Apple is reportedly preparing an entry-level iPad refresh with an A18 chip.

The bigger change may be branding: Apple could move away from the plain “iPad” name and use something like “iPad Neo.”

That would fit Apple’s recent push for clearer product identities, similar to names like MacBook Neo and iPhone 16e.

A rename would also help clarify how Apple positions its cheapest tablet line.
