Apple seeks Supreme Court review of contempt finding and injunction scope in Epic Games case

Apple has asked the Supreme Court to review a contempt ruling in its long-running Epic Games App Store fight.

The company says the lower court wrongly punished it for charging commissions on purchases made outside the App Store.

Apple also argues the injunction is too broad because it extends beyond Epic to many other developers.

The case could affect what Apple can charge on external payments and how far injunctions can reach across the app economy.
