20th Anniversary iPhone Could Blend Haptic Buttons Into Curved Edges

A Chinese leaker says Apple is testing solid-state haptic buttons for the 2027, 20th-anniversary iPhone.

The buttons would reportedly work with gloves, wet hands, cases, and even when the phone is powered off, using a low-energy chip.

The same rumor points to a curved, edge-to-edge display and other under-display features that could make the iPhone look more seamless.

If true, the design would be a major shift away from mechanical buttons and toward a more glass-like front.
