How to grapple in Saros

In Saros, the grappling hook is not found through exploration or a hidden pickup.

Players unlock it automatically by progressing the story: finish the second biome, reach the remnants of the Echelon III base, return to Passage, then start the next run in Shattered Descent.

Once granted, the grapple opens access to blue-marked ledges and other previously unreachable paths.

The guide’s main point: this is a progression-gated traversal tool, so advancing the story matters more than searching for a secret upgrade.
