Metro 2039 is going darker than ever, launching this winter on PC and consoles

Deep Silver, 4A Games, and Xbox revealed the first trailer and dev diary for Metro 2039, the next mainline Metro game.

The sequel follows a new story after Metro Exodus and introduces a new protagonist, The Stranger.

4A Games says the game has been shaped by the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on the studio.

Metro 2039 is planned for a winter release on Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series platforms.
