From yarn to car flooring… Motrex EFM carries on half a century of technology [On site+]

Motrex EFM’s Cheongju plant was showcased as a key site for producing automotive floor carpets and interior materials.

The company makes interiors from fabric production to molding and assembly, supplying about 2.1 million to 2.2 million vehicle sets a year to Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis.

It is developing single-material floor carpets, using recycled plastics, and researching modular floor structures to improve lightness and recyclability.

Motrex EFM is also pursuing the acquisition of Dooall to strengthen overseas production bases and expand its interior materials business.
