Intel confirms 14th-gen Raptor Lake CPUs and LGA1700 remain in production

Intel confirmed it will keep 14th-gen Raptor Lake CPUs and LGA1700 platform in production while newer chips ramp up.

Raptor Lake is built on the Intel 7 node, uses monolithic dies, and supports both DDR4 and DDR5 memory.

Intel is increasing production of tile-based Arrow Lake-S chips made largely on TSMC process nodes while motherboard makers plan dual-memory boards through 2026.

The dual DDR4/DDR5 support helps Raptor Lake remain attractive for budget gamers and existing systems.
