Intel says 14A is on track for 2028 risk production, 10A and 7A now in development

Intel says its 14A process is on track for risk production in 2028 and volume manufacturing in 2029.

Development has also started on 10A and 7A, and Intel is already sharing 14A PDKs with customers.

CEO Lip-Bu Tan said customer interest in Intel Foundry is growing as the company builds out its roadmap.

Tan also pointed to 18A as the node behind Intel’s latest consumer chips, underscoring the company’s near-term manufacturing push.
