PayPay starts payments in Taiwan, supports PayPay Scratch Lottery

PayPay has launched overseas payment mode in Taiwan for users who completed eKYC verification.

Users can pay and top up balances at TWQR-partnered stores, with PayPay points also available.

A related overseas scratch lottery campaign has started for eligible spending abroad.

The service improves convenience for Japanese travelers, but it is not supported on Taiwan’s MRT or buses.
