This $88 retro gaming handheld has a screen that rotates on a hinge, because why not

Anbernic announced the RG Rotate, a new Android retro handheld with a hinge-mounted 3.5-inch square IPS display.

The device uses midrange hardware, including a Unisoc Tiger T618 and Mali G52, and runs Android 12.

Two versions are planned: an $88 plastic model and a $108 aluminum model.

Pre-orders are expected later this month, adding an unusual rotating-screen option to the budget handheld market.
