Apple Releases First iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5 and macOS Tahoe 26.5 Public Betas

Apple released public betas of iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, macOS Tahoe 26.5, watchOS 26.5, and tvOS 26.5 to testers.

The betas arrived after developer seeds and can be downloaded via Apple's beta site and Settings app.

iOS 26.5 and macOS Tahoe 26.5 add a Suggested Places feature and prepare Maps to show ads.

Apple resumed testing end-to-end encryption for RCS and added EU-specific wearable pairing and notification features.
