Today, Shanghai Guotou established a Hong Kong fund - 36Kr

Shanghai SIC signed in Hong Kong to launch the Victoria Harbor Link Innovation Fund, a HK$600 million fund focused on local tech startups.

Shanghai SIC is the cornerstone investor, with CITIC Capital as manager and multiple institutions participating, including BOC, BOC International and others.

The fund will target AI, advanced manufacturing and life and health projects, aiming to support Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem.

It is the first fund under Hong Kong’s ITVF optimization program jointly backed by the city government and mainland institutions, offering a new model for Shanghai-Hong Kong capital cooperation.
