iPhone and Nikon Cameras Used in Space — NASA Releases Artemis II Photos

During Artemis II, the Orion spacecraft performed a crewed lunar orbit that included the Moon's far side.

NASA published astronaut photos taken with Nikon cameras, a modified GoPro, and an iPhone 17 Pro MAX on its official site with EXIF data.

Orion carried two Nikon D5 bodies, one Nikon Z9, a modified HERO4-based GoPro, and an iPhone 17 Pro MAX.

Nikon said it is working with NASA on circuit changes, grips for gloved use, and thermal blankets for Artemis III equipment.
