Apple Provides Update on App Store, Highlights Key 2025 Safety Stats

Apple released 2025 App Store safety stats showing it reviewed over 9.1 million app submissions and rejected more than 2 million.

The company said it terminated 193,000 developer accounts and blocked nearly 195 million fraudulent ratings and reviews.

Apple also said it prevented over $2.2 billion in potentially fraudulent transactions.

The update highlights Apple’s use of human review, AI-assisted moderation, and fraud detection to strengthen App Store trust and safety.
