WhatsApp Rolls Out Web Calling, Call Transfer Across Devices, and More

WhatsApp is rolling out audio and video calling on WhatsApp Web, including one-on-one and group calls.

The update adds screen sharing, reactions, a Calls tab with call history, and cross-device call transfer.

It also introduces a waiting room for approved call links, QuickHD for faster HD video, and noise suppression for clearer audio.

These features are rolling out gradually and expand WhatsApp’s encrypted calling tools across browsers and devices.
