Samsung may finally give the Galaxy S27 Ultra a meaningful battery boost using silicon-carbon tech

Leaks say Samsung is testing larger batteries for the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, with the Ultra possibly listed at 5,700mAh to 5,800mAh.

The rumored battery upgrade may use silicon-carbon chemistry, which could raise capacity without a major increase in phone size.

Separate reports point to refreshed ultrawide and selfie cameras, including possible new sensor names, but nothing is confirmed yet.

If true, the S27 Ultra would be Samsung’s biggest flagship battery jump in years and a sign the company is adopting newer battery tech.
