Google is launching Search Live globally

Google is expanding Search Live globally to all languages and locations where AI Mode is available, reaching more than 200 countries and territories.

Search Live first launched in July 2025 and uses a phone camera's visual context to provide real-time assistance and conversational interactions.

The expansion is powered by Google’s new audio and voice model, Gemini 3.1 Flash Live, which enables more natural conversations.

To use Search Live, open the Google app on Android or iOS and tap the Live icon under the Search bar, or tap Live in Google Lens; users can ask questions aloud, receive audio responses, and follow up.

Users can explore web links for more information, and Google Translate’s Live Translate is expanding to iOS and more countries, offering real-time headphone translations on Android and iOS across more than 70 languages.
