‘World’s first’: China’s home humanoid robot that cooks and cleans, begins duty

Chinese company UniX AI has introduced a Panther-series home humanoid robot for daily household tasks.

The robot is wheeled, stands about 5 ft 3 in tall, weighs roughly 176 lb, and runs 8–16 hours per charge.

It has dual 8-DOF arms that lift up to 26 lb, dual RGB/RGB-D cameras, optional 3D LiDAR, and 360° navigation sensors.

UniX AI says the robot can perform multi-step workflows like waking users, preparing breakfast, cleaning, and organizing.
