Gemini for macOS gets Neural Expressive, AI Mode on Android redesigned

Google rolled out a Neural Expressive redesign for Gemini on macOS in version 1.86, updating icons, buttons, menus, and navigation styling.

The company also redesigned AI Mode on Android with a floating prompt container and pill-shaped controls.

The new look moves Android AI Mode away from the older bottom-sheet layout.

The changes bring Google’s AI products closer to a consistent cross-platform design language.
