The fourth heat wave of the summer already has a start date: AEMET warns of extreme temperatures amid the wildfire crisis

AEMET has issued a special alert for Spain’s fourth heatwave of the summer.

The heatwave is expected to start on July 29 and could last until August 2 or later.

Temperatures may top 40°C in several areas, raising health risks and wildfire danger.

Affected zones include the Guadalquivir, Guadiana, Tajo and Ebro valleys, as well as the Canary Islands.
