iOS 27 will reportedly come with new AI-powered photo editing tools

Apple is reportedly preparing AI photo-editing tools for iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27, including Extend, Enhance and Reframe in the Photos app.

The features could let users change backgrounds, improve image quality and adjust framing, building on Apple’s existing Clean Up tool.

Bloomberg also says Apple is planning broader Apple Intelligence upgrades and a new Siri version, likely tied to WWDC.

The move could make Apple’s built-in photo tools more competitive with Google and Samsung’s AI editing features.
