LINE Yahoo Group’s web3 wallet adopts “JPYC,” making it available within the LINE app

LINE NEXT’s web3 wallet Unifi, available inside the LINE app, has adopted JPYC, a yen-pegged stablecoin.

JPYC payments, transfers, deposits, and receipts will be rolled out gradually for LINE users in Japan.

The move could expand real-world use of a Japanese yen-linked digital asset across LINE’s huge user base.

A Japan-focused campaign is also set to begin alongside the launch.
