Google's answer to Whoop could debut as soon as tomorrow

Google is rumored to unveil a screenless Fitbit Air as early as May 7, 2026, with Fitbit teasers and leaks pointing to an imminent launch.

The device is expected to track health data all day, surface insights in the Fitbit app, and may add Gemini-powered coaching.

Priced around $99, Fitbit Air could come with multiple band options and target the fast-growing screenless fitness tracker market.

If launched, it would give Google a new health wearable beyond Pixel Watch and a possible Whoop competitor.
