New Apple TV and HomePod Mini Are 'Nearly Ready' to Launch, New Siri Remote Also Rumored

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says updated Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini hardware has been finished for months and is already in internal use at Apple.

Apple is reportedly delaying the launch until a more personalized Siri is ready in a future software update tied to Apple Intelligence.

The new Apple TV is expected to keep a similar design but gain a newer chip, possible Wi‑Fi 7 support, and maybe a refreshed Siri Remote.

The HomePod mini should also get a newer processor and modest upgrades, with both products likely arriving around the fall after WWDC 2026.

The timing suggests Apple’s next home-device refresh may be shaped more by software readiness than by hardware development.
