GTC 2026: BYD and Geely adopt NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion for Level 4 autonomous vehicle programs

NVIDIA said BYD and Geely are developing Level 4 autonomous driving programs on its DRIVE Hyperion reference architecture.

Nissan is also building an L4 program on the same platform, expanding NVIDIA’s automaker partnerships.

Isuzu and TIER IV are using DRIVE AGX Thor for an autonomous bus project.

The deals position NVIDIA as a key supplier of standardized self-driving stacks that could simplify integration and speed validation.
